The Heraeus Kulzer research department cooperated with renowned scientists and institutes in the development of systems covering the embedding of tissue in resin for the purpose of histological examinations. The thus developed systems have been successful for decades and are being used successfully for diagnoses and research in medicine, veterinary medicine and botany.

The systems meet important requirements such as embedding at low temperature, cutting in 1 μm thickness as well as appropriate fixation and staining of the preparations.

Heraeus Kulzers histotechnology improves considerably the scientific and economic conditions of histological tissue examinations.
